{ It's the simple things....}

Isn't it funny how the simplest things in life can create the biggest smiles? Take the blog comments & e-mails we receive from all of you....you wouldn't believe how we look forward to reading them! They are the first things we check in the morning and the last thing we check in the evening before we head home. They make our day so keep blogging ~ your comments are the cherries on top of a chocolate frosted cupcake ~ they just make life more delicious!

Check these out....how could they not bring a smile to your face?Tiffany Anderson made them for us, the rug & Tate swing seat for me and a Boys Club sign for Kim ~ adorable huh? I can't wait to get them home, the rug will look fantastic in my kitchen! The colors will be perfect ~ BE BRAVE NOT BEIGE, is the motto around my house. Thank God I have a husband who doesn't mind color!

And because we are talking about the simple, happy, delicious moments

life delivers us I must mention the fantastic lunch we had the pleasure of smackin' our lips around. (It's me, you had to know I would mention food of some sort!)

Our fabulous organization guru, Sarah is super excited the San Antonio Spurs have made it into the Western Conference Finals! Whoohoo ~ ok so they lost last night to the Lakers, it was close though and her boy #22 did great!....

And finally, I am sure you have all heard by now, Indianapolis is hosting the 2012 Super Bowl! To say that I am ecstatic is an understatement! I am currently planning my Super Bowl bash ~ and if the Colts are in it you are all invited to the party! Party at Elizabeth's house!

WMEE is hosting the first ever "Baby Idol" contest and one of our clients, Lillian B., or Lilly Bug, Lilly Pie, or Miss Lilly as I like to call her ( I am a nicknamer, my son Tate has 10 different nicknames he answers to {for example, Tater, Tate-o, Tate-o cakes, Tater Bug, Buster or most recently, Fred} if you hang with me you get a nickname ~ even my cars get named! ~ but I digress....) anyway our little Lilly is a contestant, and if I may be so bold, the cutest contestant and we think obvious choice! (We are a LITTLE partial!) Tomorrow is the voting for the A-C group of babies and we need you to go to http://www.wmee.com/ and vote for baby Lillian B.!!!

I have had MANY requests to see some of the images from the Vegas wedding. Here are just a FEW of our favorites....

a note to the bride & groom ~

Matt & Ashley ~ sincerely thank you, thank you, thank you for the privilege of photographing your wedding. It was a weekend of nonstop fun from the the "un" rehearsal dinner, to Saturday morning at the salon, and straight on through Sunday Brunch with both families! And the wedding... it was perfect, not a detail was overlooked! We had a BLAST! Hope you LOVE your wedding images as much as we loved capturing them...good luck narrowing down for your album!

P.S. ~ Your flower girls & ring bearer were the CUTEST I've ever seen!

{ 13.1 }

13.1 miles at a 14 mile/minute pace. Not bad for our first Mini Marathon, not what I had hoped for but not bad...it gives us a starting point to improve from right? Thank you to all the well wishers before and after the race. As we jogged/walked the course, sprinted across the finish line and then limped back to the car, your words of encouragement played through our minds!
