{fyi}

The things we will do to get noticed....

We are going through some CHANGES around here.....where to begin....

First the most obvious, the studio exterior. We had a "LITTLE" issue with bricks not wanting to stay in their place. Kimberly quickly got that situation squared away, but I still duck and cover when I am going in the front door!

The next change, (I am EXCITED about this one) we are presenting slide shows!!!! No more 4x5 proofs my friends! Shocking isn't it.......Now, I know we have some clients who have a love affair with proofs and think they cannot possibly live without them, and you may be a TAD bit leerly ~ but give they slideshow a try, I don't think you will be disappointed! Just imagine it, go ahead close your eyes, your snuggled on a comfy couch with your family and friends and up pops the most breathtaking images of you loved one, set to music & projected on a big screen. I am telling you there have been many tears shed at these viewings. It's wow! (Oh, and you can still ORDER your beloved proofs!)

Now, lastly and possibly the biggest, I am not sure if you have noticed, but Kimberly's style has changed. No not changed, that's not the right word, it has GROWN, BLOSSOMED, MATURED, I think what I am tryin to say is.......she's better than ever!!!! I call her a "Lifestyle" photographer because she is capturing the spirit, the individuality of each client in ways that ASTONISHES me and their loved ones! Don't get me wrong she has always been an incredible photographer, but lately she is blowing me away! Personalities are popping in these slideshows and prints. So if you haven't been here in a while stop by and see some samples of her work, maybe catch one of our slideshows have a few cookies and coffee and see what we have been up to! AND....there are even more great things to come in the future....keep watch and tell your friends, the excitement around here is contagious!!

CHECK THIS OUT!!!! ~ Just push play!

Oh, my gosh!!!! I got a slideshow on the blog!!!!

It's all about us, right girls????

After party sugar crash....

What an exciting weekend for my little man. He celebrated his second birthday in grand style with the help of family, friends and his favorite web-slinging hero. It was a Spider-Man theme, Mommy tried to talk him into a fun Pirate party, but it was a no go. He is a Spidey fan through and through!
The kids had a GREAT time ...splashing, water balloons, sidewalk chalk, fire hose sprinklers pinatas, and Uncle Mattie played a game of 500 with the big boys~don't ask...I think he made it up! And of course all of Tate's favorite snacks! Spicey Spidey Salsa, Green Goblin Guacamole, fruit and fruit dip, Muffaletta on a stick, Taylor's gigantic, YUMMY decorated cookies, (Spiders & spiderwebs of course!) a spidey cake, and an ice cream bar complete with waffle bowls, sprinkle, hot fudge, caramel, nuts, mini chocolate chips whip cream and cherries. Yumm-o!

It was fun, but in true Elizabeth style, the party couldn't go without a hitch. We had one mishap. Slippery, little Jon, fresh out of the pool, wriggled out of his mother's protective arms and bonked his head on the cement. It was TRAUMATIC, at least for the grown-ups. Kim was clutching him tight, with tears streaming, I ran for my sister Katie, (she is a nurse and mother and has plenty of experience with head trauma). We were grabbing towels, ice packs and green goop to smear on his head, Jon on the other hand......he shed a few tears and was back to play with the kids! .......to much excitement for me! Next year......something simple.....

A great big HUG & KISS to everyone who helped us celebrate and a thank you for all the gifts. We so appreciate your love and kindness to our little family....
