{ sigh....}

I have so many new thoughts for this spring and wanted desperately to get them out. For one, they are pretty good ideas and two, these ideas are taking up valuable space in my brain so they must get out! But I fear this blog post is not meant to be, it has taken me two days to get this far....The images I need have suddenly vanished, my internet keeps freezing....if I see END TASK pop up one more time I may cry.....I have tried it on two different computers, with images and without, and I am giving up....for now. I don't know if it is the computers or me, or both but our fresh new spring ideas will have to wait for another day.....but what doesn't have to wait is a comment from you! Remember we are still counting your comments for Cans for Comments....less than a week left so get busy and help us fill empty tummy's in our community! Thanks!

{ Whistle while you work....}

Today I have been busy putting together our Easter scene for Saturday. Not a small task by any means....I have had this scene in my head for a few months and it just amazes me how after a few hours of hauling limestone in and out of the studio, balancing large tree limbs in little buckets to create just the right "canopy" of branches, and stuffing cracks and crevasses with moss & dirt, the scene I have been imaging is brought to life right in front of me. After some tweaking and rearranging, I believe it is finally finished and dare I say...... it is ADORABLE!

Except for one minor mishap with the glue gun and my thumb,
everything came together

swimmingly.....

Just ask the ducks!

We have a few spots left if you would like to have the cutest
Easter portraits EVER!
Call the studio, 260.563.7828, if you have any questions!

And don't forget we have just a few weeks to collect comments for cans! Keep up the good work!

{ Lucky...}

that's me. Lucky to have this amazing job, doing what I love, working for this amazingly talented & giving woman and lucky to met the people I do through my work.

Remember Kelly & Kevin?

Sure you do, how could you forget our cruising bride & groom?

This past Saturday was Kelly & Kevin's wedding reception and oh what a fun Saturday it was! The more time I spend around them and their friends & family, the more I like them (eight days on a cruise ship just wasn't enough!) Kim and I were talking about Kelly, Kevin & crew today and I told her if we hadn't been lucky enough to photograph their wedding and just met them on the street, they are so the kind of people I would want to be friends with, they are just that fabulous! But we were lucky enough to get to spend a fun filled week with them and photograph their wedding.....how fabulous is that? Enjoy some of my reception shots....and watch for some of Kim's faves tomorrow (or the next day....you know us!)

Girls, thanks for letting us into your circle. You rock!

Hey, where is Christi?

Kelly has the prettiest natural smile....ever.

Kelly & Kevin had over 400 guests...

this cake doesn't look like it would fed that many huh?

No need to worry, every table had their own cupcake bouquet!

Love it...& I'll take two!

Love it!

Work it out there Soulja Boy!

Kevin is so much fun. All evening he kept asking us,

"Will you put down the cameras and have some fun?"

Oh we did....believe me, on and off the dance floor.

Thanks Kev!

:)

Ok, I am not going to be modest here......I am incredibly

proud of this shot.

My favorite to date.

EVER.

They are genuinely happy and in love with each other.

I so LOVE love.

Thanks for the spectacular evening guys! Peace & Love to you both! E~

{ Big night on the town....}

Well, when you are a 3 year old, Curious George is a pretty big deal.
He's the reason Tate wants our next pet to be a baby monkey. He
is sure they would be the best of friends, and of course we would name him George.
Only one problem....Daddy, he isn't to hip on a baby monkey.
So visiting with George at the library was the next best thing.

And they had cake!!!

We like cake don't we Tater?

The kids got goodie bags....

And of course got to hang with the main monkey.
Tate was over the moon!
P.S. ~ Don't you love the boots-jeans combo!

They are BFF's now....of course.
Everyone walked away with a free book.
This was Tate's.
He looks thrilled doesn't he.....actually he
loved it last night when we read it at bedtime.
No worries. Oh, and then we found his current favorite
George book, and of course had to read it for
the 1,000 time.
What a night! Cake, Curious George,
stories, balloons and hanging out with
your super cool mom....what more could a little
boy ask for?

{ Cans for Comments UPDATE....}

So far our Cans for Comments campaign is going great....our total so far is 40 cans....not bad, not bad at all! You, are faithful blogging friends have really done great! A million thank yous! My goal is 100 cans, 150 would be fabulous, 200 would be out of this world insanely thrilling! So friends, let your fingers do the walking and type out a comment or 2 or 3 or 40.....thanks!
And because we are photographers and every post needs a picture I dug up this little gem from our pbk Christmas party....that we held in February. *Notice that we are all dressed in black, except for the grey sweater I wore to "liven" things up a bit!

She's got the LOOK...

Do we need to say any more?! It is pure enjoyment to photograph MaKayla, I barely need to speak, she does it all. I have been photogrphing MaKayla since she was 3 months old, we have quite a connection and let me tell you she can strike a pose! We love and cherish you (and your family)!!!!! Thanks for choosing me to capture your youth.
